I quite a couple of years back. Tried cutting down but didn't work as i was back up to normal in no time. So i just knocked it on the head, no patches nothing and it worked for me.

But all peeps are different, if one way don't work, try another (as they say "Don't give up giving up").

I look back and wonder WTF was the point in smoking now.

I quit about 7 months ago, I was on 10 a day, was only 17 at the time, I thought to myself fuck it, whats the point and that was it, I never went back, sure I was smelling the output from other smokers, but I soon stop that and now doesnt bother me that much. To be honest I dont know whats the best way to quit, either go cold turkey like I did, or lower yourself from 20 to 10, 10 to 5, 5 to 1, then 0, but its fucking hard that way.

Its hard to quit, i smoked from 17-21 smoked large amounts of greenery as well, was doin my head in!! i just gradually cut down. Then one weekend i went to New York with the folks, and cos i didnt smoke around them, i basicly didnt hav any for 4 days, then basicly stayed off em when i got back.
It is very hard givin up though, didnt smoke a thing for over a year, have started smokin when in the pub n that now which is bad, gotta stop again is a shite habit.

I stopped smoking a week ago......
was on about 10 a day and plenty of weed at night.....It's hard as fuck...
The reason i stopped was because i had a lump in my throat and it scared the fuck out of me when i found it.....turned out to be nothing though!
so everytime i have a craving i just think of how freight'n i was..
CANCER IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE....IT CAN STRIKE YOU AT ANYTIME NO MATTER WHAT AGE YOU ARE OR HOW LONG YOU SMOKE.....IT JUST HAPPENS
