what advantages would a 4 pot braking system have over a single piston?

would a 4 pot 285mm setup be better then a 300mm single pot setup?

I changed from a 308mm single piston Corsa VXR setup with braided lines to a 285mm hispec billet 4pot setup with again braided lines....

the difference was night and day with pedal feel and stopping power

All depends on piston sizes. A single large piston can have a larger area than four small ones. People used to fit the wrong Porsche rears to S3's, not realising they were getting less surface area from the four pistons than they did with the standard sliding caliper.

Yeah I had MK1 FRS Brembos on my Fiesta and they were bloody awesome, must be able to fit them on the Puma easily enough?

Although thinking about it, they run a 324mm disc, so that's useless for you
