I don't get why people get so touchy about COD, it's like when you start talking about iPhones, as though there's a hidden agenda.
I enjoy playing them as much now as I id when they first came out and clearly so do million of others, so I'm not sure where the 30 mins of entertainment comes from.

Wondered how long it would take before this turned into a COD vs BF thread To be honest, I prefer BF. Oddly enough, I prefer it because I can play it like COD and cause a lot of damage If COD introduced real time destruction I would love it. No building is left standing when I come running in with my Shotgun and Rocket Launcher

its not all about how realistic it is, i prefer cod due to the maps
bf is far too open and big for my liking. would be nice if everything is destructable though

Guessing you play on console ?
BF on pc with 32 vs 32 players soon will be total carnage.
Cod is pretty much made for consoles so works well there, pc users don't want to be limited in anyway.

Yup I agree.. I'll be getting BF3 right enough.
I don't anticipate it having the same pace and excitement that the COD series does though.
Should look pretty fantastic but the pace and "run and gun" play style of COD is what makes it sell regardless of the graphics. Hence why numerous folk still play COD4.

people still plat 4 as it is the best. It has perks, but not OTT ones and hundreds of shitty callsigns and emblems etc

Hmm I do prefer being able to choose my own killstreaks. I like being able to finish a game even if the host rage quits aswell..

It looks like a lot of the annoying bollocks from MW2 is still in there
-Killstreak stacking
-Quickscoping
-Heartbeat sensors
I believe Commando and One Man Army have been removed though, so that's something at least.
