Nope the vtr is too underpowered. It wont lose by a lot I wouldnt have thought though? They weigh 860kg's or sommit

100bhp vs 106/9bhp

VTR has weight advantage... looking at that on paper looks as if it would be close.

Driven a VTR... thought my 1400 was quicker lol

Up to 50 there is nothing in it between VTR and 1.4 16v, after that the Corsa gets raped.

ive raced a few sri corsas in my VTR, and ive never been beaten. okay, my VTR isnt standard, but its not got a s/charger! lol

i would say there are perdectly matched,
ive got a 1.4 16v corsa and mate has a vtr
we had race down a 3/4 mile straight road from standing, he pulled faster till bout 30 mph, then i caught up and we were neck and neck the whole way down the road and we both hit about 100!
i have 17's so that why i pulled away slower i reckon??
