Hi. I've got this Canon 17-55mm F2.8 USM IS lens -

Im thinking of upgrading to a 5D mk2 body but which my lens wont fit so I would sell it, however there is a small mark on the glass inside the lens which shows up on light coloured photographs at f18-22 as a little dark smudge (bright skys, white studio etc) Its never bothered me as I rarely shoot at that end of the aperture scale and on the odd occasion I do it would get blobbed out in PS no problems.

Best new UK price is £750 via Amazon.

I'd say £650 on a forum and keep the bright mark quiet (rightly or wrongly - hardly anyone shoots that narrow surely). If theres any similar problems with any of my lenses I've never found it as I don't use much beyond F11.

could always just try and use TP abit more, they get onto it if you're just trying to boost your post count but it would be easy over afew weeks

unless you want it gone imminently?

one things for sure, don't bother trading it in at wilkinson cameras in southport, they offered me £150 for a 75-300mm and a 50mm 1.4, i then went on to sell the 50mm on its own for £180
