Conjuring 2 7.5/10

Not as good as first, a tad more tongue in cheek but great fun

Independence Day 2

3/10

This is why Sequels should never happen.
I love Starship Troopers, it's in my top 10.
This sequel felt like a cheesy mashup version of them both. Felt really odd to watch. Didn't know whether to laugh? Or to cringe? Big budget, big cast, big flop.

Finding Dory - 5/10

Not bad, but not a patch on nemo, essentially the same story slightly rehashed, couple of laugh out loud bits, my daughter enjoyed it enough, but meh. Gotta admit i was a little disappointed. Main new voices are the two main guys from Modern Family, Phil and his father in law

Deadpool - 8.5/10 absolutely class, love the dry humour and was generally a well-made movie.

Serenity - 10 year old film and I'd never heard of it but it gets a 6/10 - wasn't fussed about the main characters tongue in cheek acting.

Film is even better if you watch the TV show that it is based on first (Firefly). You don't need to watch it but aspects of the film make much more sense if you already know the back story to all the characters.

Fuck off. Deserved 2/10 at best.
Watchable parts can be seen in the trailer. That's it!

10 cloverfield

4/10

I Love apocalyptic movies. Had my hopes up for this.
Good concept, loose storyline. Rushed to a desperate open ending.

I agree. This movie was made more for closure, just for the fans. The series got cut short for whatever reason.
Enjoyable to watch 2nd time round

I thought it was pretty average, hence the 5.
