Whats differnce between the A, B and C shapes, and what years were each introduced?

So if I have a W reg, what shape is mine?

A= Nova
B= Is the Old Corsa
C= New Corsa
But dont know what years they were introduced

Oh right, maybe someone should tell Vauxhall this then, as I got those dates from Vauxhall's EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog)!
