A Zetec-S left me for dead on the twisty back roads to Darvel.
The handling on these cars are superb as standard.

Nothing much in it on the straights though.

Also my girlfriends has the 1.25 which pulls well up to 50mph then it just dies, I managed 104mph at 4750rpm in it and that was on a flat road, it refused to rev any higher even down hill.

went out in 1 last week, didnt feel that quik but went round roundabouts like on rails and this was standard i realy like them, nice car.

Yep, and the Zetec-S shares the same handling due to similar suspension setup. Quite a neutral chasis, very little understeer or oversteer.

Someone on here asked what mods i've done to get 130bhp:

Magnex Cat-back 4" Round Exhaust.
Piper Viper Induction Kit with cold air feed
Piper 'Fast Road' Cams
FSE Power Boost valve (setup on the Rolling Road)
Superchip (custom map to work best with the above mods).

I'm very pleased with it, dont know what else i can do since i dont want to take the turbo/supercharger route.

I keep seeing some really nicely done Corsa's around my way (Basildon/Southend), keep up the good work!

Got bored on page 2... Keep this to the school playground...

The Fiesta Zetec-S maybe slow, But its also not daft high on insurance...

So just chill out coz my fiesta will wipe the floor with a Zetec-S innit but have to pay stupid insurance...

Only group 8, Thats what you should really think about, Ford dont go round sayin we will make this 1.6 fiesta faster than a 1.6 corsa etc... they say this is about the right power for this car so its insurance friendly etc...
