Anyone know anybody in fife who is a carb master,been fucking around with the mixture screws and needle heights for days now and have given up. Thought some one might know a stock car mechanic or some one along those lines who is a wizard with carbs!?

Any help will be much appreciated,cheers!

The mrs' cousin (or cousin's cousin, can't mind ) is an ex stock car champ, and his dad owns Moodie's in Buckhaven so maybe they would know a thing or two about carbs? I'll ask her to find out

gorden moodie?? he sets up most of the stock car engines that race there and and from what i have heard he is one of the best at it.

Could also try Jock Maxwell in Buckhaven.

He too builds and repairs alot of the stock cars that race at Cowdenbeath etc.

Builds the Redtops for the Hotrods etc so will probably know where to start.Has just fitted a rolling road too.

Be careful how you approach him though.He can come across a bit of an arsehole,but once your on the same wavelength he's awrite.

A race bangers at cowsenbeath and and ma dads friends wae burgoines they set up carbs m8t

The garage is in Bow Street in Buckhaven.Easy enough to find.Next to Tams Bar.

Went to see jock maxwell and moodie today,moodie said he dosent do that sort of work so went to see jock and what a guy. He just builds and tunes race engines for a living,got some crazy equipment,the guys a wizard! Apparently hes one of 4 places in the uk that do what he does with carbs. Expensive tho. Very expensive.

What is it your needing done??

Aye Jock has come a long way from what he started with.He used to race at Cowdenbeath but got banned for being too much of a nutter.
Seen some1 dropping off 2 F2's last week for him to sort.Its also not the 1st time ive seen him out on the straight bit of road beside his garage in a stockie.lol.

Forgot to say try David Black in Aberhill.He's an Old Skool guy that will know a bit about carbs.
