Koesi ones are replicas of the mx5 ones, whick are enkei (sp) also some very similar wheels made by advan

It's a pretty common design for the jap market, but the jap makes are very lightweight and expensive.

my stock bbs wheels were ET45 (standard mx5 offset and looked pretty lost in the arches

My Ronal LS wheels are ET25 and fill the arches nicely and no rubbing at all and she went another 10-20mm lower than the pics below.

There is also a lot of stickied threads here which include pictures of aftermarket alloys in all different sizes/offset which is very userfull

http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showforum=25

You can run upto ET25 without any issues at all on the mk1s, it is possible to squeeze a set of J8 ET0 wheels under standard arches with a slight flair/camber adjustment apparently too
