Was just dicking about really, couldnt get to the two spots that are really good for photos due to track modification works ongoing and a rally day using the other area.

First time out with a DSLR and not paying enough attention are other excuses

Do think I'm going to need a different lense though. These pics are mostly cropped cause I couldnt zoom in enough for the shots I wanted.

Bit more practice panning and they'd be good. Shame some are under exposed. What lens and settings were you using ?

Darker shots look grainy, what ISO were you using ?

Canon eos 20d with efs 18-55 lense. Full auto in sports mode, I don't know enough to play with settings yet.

The grain on the darker ones may be partly due to where I was shooting. It was quite far back so those pics, although taken at full zoom, were still cropped down to the centre 1/9th of the image at most.
