Well its been a bloody long time since ive posted anything, been busy in london with uni and work. was meant to do a shoot for channel 4 for the band the wanted, but couldn't make it, which was a shame as i would have been on tv and obviously this is good coverage.... anyway ive done another london fashion week, this time made it onto the press photography box. also got my equipment seized by the police at the protests for uni as i was just documenting it, but they want to use it as evidence in court.... ghey. anyway here are a few images .....

(in no particular order)

Some nice pics.

I've got the 16-35 L series too, but i'm really not getting the best out of it without a full frame camera.
I really want a 5D MkII!

I'm a fan of most of it will and do like your shooting style bar two things...

1) the model's whites of the eye's are just too white
2) promoting the gun IMO is not the best thing from the two lads... but thats just my view of course.

You have two contacts on your website

I assume one is just a place holder?

On your existing site, the contact page with the business cards - I think it may have looked better if each of the different colours picked out a different area. For example the blue card stays on portrait, the orange card highlights automotive and the green one fashion, just an idea

nah its just a mistake, ive not done anything for the new site yet, just that design, working on other websites first, dont even know if ill use that design, might just make it really plain and 'sleek' something i will have to decide mid year, only made the current site a few months ago, dont want to change straight away....

also, if anyone in the london area has, either high performance or 'special' cars i can use for my portfolio i would do a free shoot or two, or any other cars, would do a few cheap shoots for corsasport members etc....

Your obviously there technically but in terms of the gangs project what are you trying to say?

Photography projects like this, for me, should be about telling a story and the best stories are ones we don't know. All you seem to have done is check every stereotype and chiche going with a story thats been told a million times before.

I found it to be a really hard first project if im honest, we needed to show ourself as being a stranger in a community, its where i am now based, elephant and castle, which is totally out of my usual surroundings. it does make sense with the write up. but yes i do see your point! something i need to work on. there are more images, it starts with distant images then working closer learning their day to day life, being in a gang in south east london.
