Hello there i'm Paige.. i'm new to the forum
passed my test end of november
got a red corsa b in flame red on a R reg tidy for the age rele...
got 71k on the clock, so pretty tidy motor..

So going to start a project log anyway as i have a few plans for it... And obvz if you guys have any tips to add on your more than welcome .....
brought a GSI spoiler for it which gona do when the weather picks up with it not bein able dry in the cold, lookin for some alloys but not decided which ones yet, probs some cav slabs or some softstars or cesaro's as they are nice wheels... Can't decide.. It deffinitley needs lowering thinking of 40mm for the time being, put a debadged grill on it, and thinking of doin the mouldings matt black, they are the plans so far lol..also repaintin the interior door handles red, as colour doesn't go well as they are, but they were free so put them on see what they would look like..

excuse some of the crap pics they were taken on my fone which the camera isnt that good, needs some decent pics tooken which will get done wen the weather clears up a bit

It was faded as you all probs no vauxhall red goes 'pink'
so this is how it was before a good polish up

around the indicator was all dirty














Then after the good polish.. It looked like a new one...
It looked nice and shiny and 'red'











Then these few are close ups of the debadged grill i put on it..
which i think looks loads better than the one with the chrome bit in








then i put in the blue interior door handles which i have decided i don't like and they don't go but ill put the pic on anyway







well thats the car how its lookin up to now, should be an update soon once i've decided which wheels to choose

well its a long time since i posted, but its had an update

got the spoiler fitted, lowered it, got some alloys, got an exhaust, litte bitss and bobs ere and there

However remove the monster sticker as it looks a little chavvy IMO. If you like it, keep it, obviously.

cheers mate,

few more little updates, before the big build starts

debadged the back. and took door strips off.. Got some flatblade window wipers, and cleaned some of the engine up as looks like a pipe ad bost off in the past which then it started rain so didnt get to finish, as sunny england is

as u can see thats what it was like before all over though, on the engine n everywhere


n after a bit of clean then it started rain lol

well since the last post theres been a massive update....

soooo basically been working hard on this motor with my partner nath whos done the respray, its now done how i have wanted it for ages, and im very pleased how its come out, we have working very hard to make it become to what it has, thanks to you nath you've made me very happy with how its turned out , you all knew what it looked like anyway if u read through my thread, looks like a different motor now

anyways less chat and more for you lot to see, i hope you all like it, as i very much do so and if noone likes it i dont really care because i LOVE it! !

its back to flame red but fresh, with a fuschia pink metal flake all over which you cant really tell on pics as the camera doesnt pick it up, it looks bloody awesome though close up!

so heres the moment................ WARNING... ( quite picture heavy )

bumper prepped..


fitted skirts and was driving around with the sideskirts like this for months


quarter panel welded by a work mate of naths as it had cracked..


de Ariel-ed...


bumper nearly primered


steinmetz sideskirts fitted


side before painting, nearly all ready go for paint


boot ready for painting, smooth back bumper fitted with the new red paint.. but not just red paint, you will see in the next few pics!

and now front bumper fitted and in the booth ready be painted...

brought some dtm mirrors..

the main bit now really, which ive been working on for months, thats why theres been no update

and the back, got some south african rears to go in but got to get some wiring for them as they dont come with any....


also brought some opel mudflaps


front again, also badboy bonnet has no washer jets, so all smooth 8)
