Hi does anyone know of a civic type r engine avaliable or a civic that is breaking my engine is knocking and i pressume the bottom end is away, so just going to put a new engine in the good girl....

I heard a scrapyard up Coatbridge area had a K20 engine and box cheap.
Failing that Gerry @ performanctek usually has them in stock.

Do you know what the breakers was at coatbridge? al maybe give them a buzz, what sort of money does gerry@performanctek want for a decent engine?

gerrys spot on and always tends to have a lot of the good civic parts in stock, you could try aa autobreakers, dunno what you call the area there in but they always have alot of performance stuff breaking

Am sure aa breakers is in belshill always got evos scoobs and the odd Vtec in as wee got an evo turbo off him 4 £100 guy was spot on

i tried aa nothing in at the mo, usually got a good selection of subarus and evo's in anytime i'm up, not seen mant civics tho. keep a look out.

he works on an exchange basis i think you give him a broken engine he gives you a running one, that was fitted £1800 best giving him a call if your interested, just dont want to be giving out false info, he's brand new, i've delt with him before.
