I'm not sure what to get ICE wise in my new Sxi, at the north city cruise last night there was a geezer who was running an amp, and 2 12" subs off his standard HU, and it sounded wicked.

I don't want OTT ICE, just something nice, with quite good sound quality.

I LOVE Bass, so if you recommend any 6x9's or rear components, what makes are good ?

Cheers guys

I want to keep my Standard HU, cos i think it looks good in there, i was just wanting some nice sound quality from the rear, and also some nice bass.

What should i get?

Well, pioneer e-motion coaxials are quite nice, or sony custom fit 17cm.

Rockford 6x9's are quite bassy, as are Cerwin Vega (if you can find some) or again, Pioneer E-motion 6x9's.

I was thinking about Rockford Fosgate 6x9's, cos there is a website which are having a special offer on them, they're normally £129, and they're selling them for £69.99.

Do they sound bassey then? Cos my mate has Vibe 6x9's and they aint that bassy

Yeah, i reckon it fits in with the dashboard surround well, some aftermarket stereo's look odd in a new Sxi

but if you want quality, i'd suggest the following:

Alpine headunit
Focal Components up front
10" sub in sealed box
Audison Amp

This uses the KISS method

Nah thats a bit out of my price range, i only want something to improve sound quality from the rear speakers, which i think i'm going to to for 6x9's.

What do you all think about that deal for Rockford Fosgate 6x9's for £69.99, here's the spec:

Pair 6x9" 2-Way High Performance Full Range Speakers With 75W RMS/150W Peak Handling and Poly Cones, Grilles Included

High Street RRP £119.99

Price (Inc. VAT & Carriage): £69.99
