Imagine how annoyed Jobs must be that he has no control over The Beatles, must be about the only thing he can't just do what he wants with.

Wouldn't warrant sprawling that announcement over the front page would it? Think 4.2 is meant to drop tomorrow if the blogs are right...

Steve Jobs has teamed up with VW and they are realising a new version on the classic car that was the Beatle. Called the iBeatle.

IIRC, YOKO either didnt want ANY beatles tracks to be made available on iTunes or simply wanted to be wanted too much for them.

I think its the former, no digital formats

The Beatles' record label was called Apple.

Apple computers is called Apple.

Apple Records got pissed at Apple Computer so they agreed that Apple Computer would never become a record label.

Apple invents the iPod and iTunes.

Apple Records get pissed at Apple Computer again.

Apple Records spit their dummy out and say that Apple Computer aren't allowed to sell Beatles Records on iTunes.
