Hi It's me again lmao

With the floor in the garage not even cold after the dimise of my previous car, I had filled it with my next toy.

I knew I wanted a vauxhall
I knew I wanted a turbo
I knew I didn't want a corsa
I knew I didn't want a standard car

I decided on an Astra Mk4 sri... and then a gsi... and then saw the car below on Ebay.

(apologise for the bad pics..quality took them this aft on my phone)






Rough specification of the car:

2000 Opel Kadett (import) Sri (2.2 originally)
Z20LEH from a 2008 Astra vxr (fsh)
Front Mounted Intercooler
Astra Coupe SE2 Wheels
Aftermarket Exhaust
Decat
PowerPipes
3" Top Hat
Dump Valve
Induction Kit
VXR Turbo (obv)
Stage 2/3 remap?
VXR Brakes
OPC Bodykit(?)


Bad Bits:

Stone chipped front bumper
Standard Suspension
Knacked Drivers Seat
Blue LEDs behind everything :yuck:
Powerflow Exhaust
Gay Air Intake in Bumper


Plans:
Decent Suspension
Proper Exhaust System
Sort outside - paint/buff
Fix Drivers Seat
Change Dash Lights
Fit stereo(!) - sub/amp etc
Reeemap within an inch of the engines life lmao


Today I did my first mod;

removing the 'cross-over' pipe and teeny induction kit and fitting a big induction kit for maximum suckage lmao - pics tomorrow probably

Also bought a 2.5" mandrel exhaust from Turbo_Chris which i collect tomorrow :beer: (and may fit depending on whether the current system is a 2" or not...)


Hope this thread is an enjoyable for people to read as my previous car was

seen this on ebay, nice buy. be careful of those cone filters, these engine dont seem to like them and the afm dies quite often

I did indeed get it off ebay..infact i say so on the first post.

The afm won't die.. it's got a VXR AFM and injectors on it fella
