ive played some games on both consoles, and F1 for example looks better on the ps3. ive got a slim ps3 and ill be buying a slim 360 soon as well to play online

I assume you conducted these tests on the exact same TV at the same resolution using the same connections? 
I doubt it's immediately different by eye on any console tbh.

yep, just my opinion. mate whos got it on 360 said the same when we plugged my ps3 in

no matter what you buy you will be happy
i had an xbox but sold it and got a ps3 purely for no fee's and blu ray

Also if you are going to steal games instead of paying for them it doesnt matter what they are like online because your console / account will get banned anyway

You make a good point - stealing games is not the top of my list. its more the media hub i want, movies, music, photos and an element of gaming!
I was looking at deals and came accross Very - Ł199 less 10% new cutomer then buy now pay sept 11.. i'll just spred the payment over the interest free period!

yes, been out longer so got a greater library and IMO better exclusive titles

To me it makes no difference. I only want FIFA, COD & Battlefield really  Can get those on either console. So I just want to be able to play those games but also wanted Blu-ray too hence not getting the Xbox.

do you still have to buy thjngs seperate with the 360slim? like the wireless adaptor and hdd for example??
ive owned both, i prefer the slickness of the ps3 and think its exterior looks better, id actually say the 360 is better for online gaming in the sence that you can communicate with your buddies alot easier etc, the ps3 will only talk to mates in the same game/server.
the fan noise did my head in on the 360.. it was very loud. the ps3 is silent.
ps3 plays blueray and has bbc iplayer i dont know if the 360 has that yet.
the ps3 controller feels more natural in my hand than the 360's

Agreed, the battery pack below the 360 controller is a pain, weighs a fair bit too in comparison.

I'm also considering both just now mainly because I have an 800 quid tv sitting doing nothing but collecting dust with not even an antenna attached to it
There's a normal ps3 and an Elite in my house already and I'm not sure which is better tbh.

Both good for differant games.
PS3 has GT5/Prologue, InFamous, LBP, Killzone 2, Buzz, God of War III, Heavy Rain, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted
360 has Forza, Left For Dead, Halo, PGR, Lips, Gears of War III, Fable 2, Mass Effect
As you have both I'd buy some pre owned games for both consoles.

As with the 360 slim it says it's Silnet but you can still hear the Fan going around lol. But i do like it.
