After looking through the 80's thread and also the car scene atm, retro stuff is quite popular amoung people of a certain age, like 70's styling, 80's cars etc small chrome bumpers, that kind of thing.

do you think people will get nostalgic about bodykits and suddenly want a classic bodykitted hot hatch from the 90's?

things along the lines of ecosse, carimsa, dimma, skeete.

or just posts pic of cars you remember from that era, i can't find the ones that i can't even think of atm

i remember some minty porsche peppermint green calibra, that the bloke had made the bodykit himself, sort of ferrari 360 looking.

instead of wide rear arches, he just cut them and bent a section in the give the illusion.

also some youngish guy building an mk1 astra GTE himself in the garden, loved that, kinda browny gold coloured

i think the ones that look almost factory will, but ott ones will die out.

although everything seems to come back in fashion, known as ''retro'', so maybe they will.

i remember seeing a red astra same as that in slough and getting excited over it.
as said if done tastefully then i think it could happen.
Thing is now everyone is after really good quality so dodgy fibre glass kits aren't gonna cut it

I always, always wanted either a Dimma Clio or Dimam 106 - there was a Dimma Clio in red in my local town with cream leather back in maybe 97/98 or thereabouts - it was stunning and the reason I went into modified cars instead of beeltes/campers like my mates
