so now the orange one is off the road for the change of engine and few other bits etc, so it doesnt have to be rushed, as i need a car every day of the week, a few of you may know or have read in the help section i now have a 1.2 16v aswell as the orange one

right then, heres that brocade machine, after i cleaned most of the moss off ,
still need to try and sort a few bits like another alloy, a engine cover, side needs painting etc

yes its Opel, and i shall be changing it to Vauxhall, so the first person with a good offer for the bit's shall take them, but i would need atleast a steering wheel cover and a front grill

well the engine ended in bits way before christmas, due to some strange guy's coming in the back yard one night so i broke it up and stored it all over the house me mum loved that

i have ...
nova head
mpi inlet (using astra one due to it been neater)
fast road cam
vernier pulley on the way
quick shift on the way
4 branch manifold
GM head gasket
GM oil/filter
GM Plugs
new water pump
new thermostat
new head bolts
inlet/exhaust gaskets

i dont think i need to get anything else, unless i buy any more bits and bobs in between now and running

here are some picture's

i didnt get a picture of how the head was at the start

oh and the head has been pressure tested as it was a ebay buy, and the guy said its good

i did forget to take a picture at first, but here's only just the wipes, bonnet, battery, air box and scuttle gone

radiator

battery tray, inlet etc

did manage to get the lights out without the bumper off, because i cant take the bumper off because of the arch's

this is how the day ended, just left with the engine and box, also the arch liner's are out, light wiring, gear linkage, all hose's

the block is done too but dont have any pictures of that, the engine should be out tomorrow, and then i can start on painting the bay up, as its not the best when you get close

here are some more picture's

opinions and comments welcome
