Just saw this there the now Davie, you and Marty are making some excellent progress - you'll need to e-mail me the photos at some point. What did you need to do to the driveshaft coupling on the diff to get it off then? Noticing a nice wee bit of cleaning work going on there too, nice one mate.

I'm going to make a thread asking for one but if anyone's got an ignition coil for an early c20xe I'll take it asap, providing Vauxhall don't have them in stock. Only fecking thing I forgot.

Well he does what he does brilliantly, I'd recommend the two of you to anyone. Start doing a few more to get the Vauxhall ratio in the garage up a bit even though it's pretty high the now lol

Was out at it yesterday mate, it had a problem with spluttering and hesitating as if there was a problem with the AFM or something. It was doing the exact same thing with the new engine so I was thinking - it's got to be either fuel side or the only other bit swapped over, the lambda. Changed it over with that spare I had in the garden and low and behold it's sorted it. I'll need to get a pic of the old one up, the protective shield over it was gone and the insides were all bent and fucked up. The wee bit of pipe that connects the flexi to the downpipe was actually over half the boss hole so it had fucked it, think I might have done it when I attempted the exhaust. Got that ball joint fitted as well, you'll need to let Marty know I appreciated him giving us that.

New set of front lights and the wheels + front grill painted and it should be looking 10x better. Marty busy this week?
