I've been renovating a house for
the last year. Unfortunately
several areas of laminate have
been splashed with gloss.

Can anyone
suggest something to remove it?

Try some Nitromors on a hidden bit. It's safe on wood and is water based so it ought to do no harm and it will strip the paint no problems. But best be safe to start...

Dont do that ^^^^

It'll just get very messy and you will have to wash it off...last time I checked water and laminates dont mix. Let alone nitromors mixed in.

Buy a filler knife and chip them off. Job done.

No offence meant Ed.

The g/f recently used WD40 to soak in the paint and then used her nails to remove loads of flecks from her sisters bedroom floor. However the paint was only dried on for about 24-48 hours.

yep... wot he said, use a blunt knife and scrape them off... as long as they're spots of paint and not a big spill lol
