Remove the device via device manager, plug it out and plug it back in, normally does the job for me.

Problem is its not showing up.

I uninstalled the drivers, plug the phone back in and it starts to reinstall drivers but doesnt seem to complete it

I can upload the photos using photobucket mobile, would prefer to have the original image on my computer.

Just to check - are you seeing the drive/folders but no pictures inside it? It does that if you have a PIN set on the device...

The phone is not showing up at all.

I plug it in, and since i removed the drivers, it appears on the right hand taskbar saying it's installing drivers, says they are complete but nothing shows.

I have also removed itunes and every apple related item in my uninstall programs, re installed itunes & safari.
