Sam, as per my text the other day there is a very big show at Pickering Show Ground from Thurs-Sunday so traffic on the A64 at Maldon may get very very bad (it was last year!).

The map below is a possible alternative route, but just as nice to drive..



I think it's worth checking the traffic before we leave the McDs on Sunday and make a decision as to which route to take

I'd go Daves new route, if only because it will be at least a little bit more exciting than the A64, as all we will do on that is be sat in traffic all the way to Scarborough, plus ive driven it so many times it bores me to tears
