Played a few games online yesterday through xlink kai and its awesome, the camera spike is genius, on nuketown i placed it facing out a top window downwards so could see everyone and for sniping just place it facing the door or behind you and no one can sneak up on you. Tried proper online but servers arnt up still, hopefully later today.

This with local people? How you getting passed the 30ms ping limit? Or you got a jtag? Just thought you were on a flashed drive.

Camera spike is a placeable camera which shows on the top left of the screen. On a flashed drive, never used it before but just connected the xbox to my mac via eth and downloaded xlink, worked fine, wouldnt connect to a few so i hosted my own an about 15 people joined. Just got a 7mb update for black ops, servers must be going up soon and i have work til 9.30, typical.

That'll explain it then. Isn't an issue if you're host, there's only a 30ms limit when you're a client.

I need a jtag in my life. Had an old xbox and tried to jtag it but the soldering frustrated me so much I stabbed to motherboard with the soldering iron Do have a couple of spares but dont know if they are exploitable and its fucking hard to do.

Yeah takes a while do the flash dumps off the boards and stuff, especially if you're soldering is wank as you'll get bad blocks. I've done a few now so consider myself a bit of a veteran on the topic You should do it.

Well I know who to call after I check them bollocks got work now hopefully servers are up sometime today then if not see you on xlink, oooh just noticed the multiplayer has changed, has a new message and a link to check server status online (which doesnt seem to work yet) callofduty.com/blackops/status changed from vers 33. to 40 odd too.

tbh mate, unless a new rebooter is made you've probably missed the boat anyway. However, making one is MORE than worth while just for COD4
