just called them and its confirmed.. no order has been placed due to the promotional codes.
she told me that the money will come back so it will just be a case of waiting to see if it does. i also paid via paypal

I called, she told me no order has been logged on their systems and as i paid via pay pal ill need to raise a dispute with them to get them to release my money which will be held in a suspense account. 
EDIT: Raised a dispute through PP just incase it doesn't come back automatically.

TBH I'm thinking and I might have said it earlier in this thread that is going to be the case. MW2 was brilliant for the first few months.
Shame Xbox & PS3 can't all play together really.

i know what you guys are saying about mw2 they just let things happen and ream in the money one thing i noticed with waw was that treyarch had a few patches to stop the bullshit, i didnt play it for long to see if they kept it up or not as the old style guns etc wasnt for me,
but going by some of the post that the treyarch guys are posting it sounds like there going to be on the case of this sorta thing as much as they can,
heres hoping they are . . .

I hope they are. Mw2 is a joke online. Quick scoping is bullshit every other game has people cheating in it. Xbox tagged people are fuckin ridiculous. Can't usually play more than a couple of games before it pissed me off. Really hope new one isn't like mw2.

Essentially they realised that everyone was using the code for the same thing, didn't like it so cancelled all orders of Black Ops that had been placed using the code.
With regards to paypal, reading above looks like you'll need to raise it with them? "as i paid via pay pal ill need to raise a dispute with them to get them to release my money which will be held in a suspense account." - suggests your money is in limbo at the moment, you can contact paypal to get them to retrieve it, or if you don't want to, can wait and hope that Woolworths cancel the order and the money comes back automatically.
Think it'd make sense to inform paypal though

It's already been hacked to pieces and has the same mods as MW2, it's basically the same game after all. Only thing working in it's favour is JTAGs won't be able to go online for a short period after the dashboard update. However, people can still connect via system link so I can't see it being long before there is 15th prestigers running round every where. Treyarch have said they'll be monitoring it closely etc tho, so we'll see.
