I don't see the problem with quickscoping, it requires a level of skill to carry out successfully and if you can master it then you should be allowed to reap the benefits. I can't do it for the life of me but fair play to those who can.

Me either, but I'm biased. I find I get bored after a couple of games using machine guns.
I do get a lot of hate mail though so I guess people really don't like it!

The icon that shows you what position you're in (the guy goes from 1 through to 4 at one point) should also show you (if not 1st) how many kills behind the leader you are 
The long post that Danny made states that the map rotation will be as before - quite shit as in MW2 you hardly seem to get Terminal and Highrise in comparison to the other maps!

I'm going to try and get in to hardcore on this as I only play hardcore on Battlefield now and it makes it so much better.
Just got to learn the maps first before I do. Hardcore on COD is harder in a way though due to the style of gameplay so I might not bother

I can't stand anything other than HC. Shouldn't be able to see where people are wandering unless you earn UAV.

It was you that got me in to hardcore on BC2 I had learnt all the maps by that point though so that helped a lot.
I don't think I could of gone straight in to hardcore without having played the normal version to memorise the maps.

That's the thing though, you learn them just the same on HC and I think it's actually easier. If you shoot on Core, someone will be there within seconds to kill you!

Thats does my head in.
I see someone in the distance and i have to evaluate the risk of taking a shot and being seen on the map and killed instantly against the likelyhood of me killing the person in the distance.
Most of the time i just let them go unless i know im on for a definate kill and have somewhere to hide straight away.

I did have a go briefly once and couldnt understand where all the UI had gone Like i didnt know when to reload and stuff, i'd be happy just not having the radar. I find myself using the scilencer on all my setups now, seems to be working quite well.

i only play hardcore on MW2, and like you said you dont know when to reload but you dont use as many bullets so you can go longer without reloading and when on HC you have time to reload after each kill. plus i think that hardcore requires more skill

I did that for MW 3 years ago or what ever never needed a decent PC for UO and COD2 back in the day, mine still runs modern games fine but I do need to buy a few new parts.

I sold my xbox a while ago and wanted a media player for my room so just thought bugger it build a top spec pc and just run it through my tv. Then i've got a media player and can play games etc.
