what sort of bhp have i got if i have a 1.4i 8v. its an LS model, M reg. only mods i got engine wise is a new magnex 6"x4" oval back box

68, hmmm. the exhaust been modeed to fit. needs a bit more work though, tilts to one side ever so slightly. not really noticable. so whats the best bhp gaining mods then?!

Not worth it IMO... blood from a stone... with about a grand you might get 75-80 from it.

I got 2 sets of figures about the 1.4 8v .. all say 60bhp.

Im going off parkers and the Haynes Corsa manual, which also says 60

There was a rumor going round not so long ago you could fit bits off the SRi 8v engine to give noticable power gains

Probably could do. Need the whole top end, new throttle body, injectors, fuel pump, ecu etc etc etc...

i seen the sri conversion kit before,. was pretty cheap too. not much to it though. just the ecu and sum other little bits. the other car it is then
