i saw a lush a3 earlier. black. clear rear lights, zorst and some nice 17's and lowered. Looked superb. A good example of not overmodding a car and keeping it simple. Had a lil bit of ice as well. The car looked and sounded mint. I've set my sights on one in a few years now!

heh, i own a gold one, soon to have 19's, powerflow exhaust and de-cat, chip, lowered, hybrid turbo, induction kit, tints and if i can afford it, computerised boost control

Out of interest guys if you were gonna get an a3, which one would you get? The s3 is obviously a bit dear but what is the 1.8T or even the diesel ranges like?

Anyone got any pictures of modded a3's?

Always found it difficult if i ever had to choose between an a3 or a mrk IV golf. I think they're both good but in their own way.

my mums got an S3, on 18" bbs rims, black, tints (obviously full s3 kit) and lowered 40mm, and a (think its hks) roller bearing turbo and intercooler.
it was standard till she went away for a week with her best mate, dad decided it needed a makeover and did it all that week, she went mad when she got back cause her insurance went up about £200

S3 comes with a K04 turbo, tein intercoolers

i think most the audis come with twin intercoolers, i know the 1.8t and 2.5 v6 tsdi do.

ive got the 1.8T (150 bhp) its a nice car, and with a few mods, it becomes an awesome car. Insurance aint too bad either.
