Hmm

I've always thought of bigger brakes,are they the exact measurements for them mate? Where's the best place to get them new or second hand?

Iv got some of that mequires stuff & clay bar never used it.

Do you just spray on and simply wipe off?

Yea the Megiuars stuff you just spray on,rub it in with a microfibre cloth then buff off with a different one Mark

theres a scrap yard near me dan, breaking a calibre with 2.0l brakes and cream leather seats if ur interested. can find out a few more details if u like. The corsas looking cleannnn! especially with the new bits sprayed up!

They are the exact measurement for the disc, which is what you go off. 1.6 stuff is mostly that size.

2.0 stuff should be left on 2.0 cars IMO, You get a poor pedal feel (I speak from experiance), I'd go for the 1.6 stuff, Your also have more wheel options in the future.

Cheap discs and GM pads and your be sorted.

Where's the best place to get them? Ive looked on eBay but they only do disks and pads but no calipers Any ideas? Cheers

You'll find some calipers second hand easily enough mate. Just give them a good clean and fresh coat of paint and they will be as good as new. No need to fork out for brand new/re conditioned ones really.

Are they called 1.6 calipers then?

So what you reckon,buy discs and pads off the Bay and get some second hand calipers either off here or the Bay?

v6 brakes work realy well on my 1.6 got nice pedal feel but its wat eva you prefer 2bh

getting me some new drilled and groved discs and pads soon if you eva want v6 they am off a mareva 280mm well they am the same lol
