Unless you have actually know, dont bother replying.

No pin on the big black plug, cant see the wire anywhere, found one green from the wiper motor, other than that, cant find anything. Haynes says the wire should be coming of the ecu, but ofc its impossible to see with everything fitted.

obviously i cant just go off the coilpack.

Anybody got any light as to if the wire is there at all? if so where?

I know that... And any guide ive seen anywhere shows it for 1.2 8v's and up, which are all piss easy as the ecu is in the kick panel and theres a multi plug.

There's a guide here for it - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=347302

The ECU is bolted to the back of the engine behind the inlet manifold, so not as easy a job as other models to fit the wire to

But dave, if you had done it yourself you would know its not that simple, there is no green wire coming from the ECU as it seems, Haynes shows X58/2, Since i could only find number two on the plug that goes into the car, its what im sticking with and il find out tomorrow.

Btw this is mostly due to me getting my hands dirty just now trying to figure it out.

I changed the clocks on my old one myself but the wire was there so it was ok.

Sorry but I'm too tired to understand the rest so I'll come back tomorrow

Will find out tomorrow.

Well today i cracked on with it, Pin number TWO on the plug nearest the bulkhead on the ecu IS the correct one, Into the 4/5th (cant remember) slot on the clocks and wala, Done and works.

Nice one

Mine was an Envoy and it had the wire, it's a bit strange. Envoy is something like 2 or 3 up from base model
