I've been using CS3 for ages Don't know why I never got 4 tbh. Couldn't really be bothered to update. This one must be worth it for Content Aware though, surely!

I've got it now and the instructions say to edit your hosts file I'd rather not tbh

Either way it says you need SP2 on Vista so I'm installing that and going to try it anyway.

Ahh, ok I assume you mean edit it otherwise it can't communicate? Just checking so I don't pull an epic fail.

I would have thought it would already have these values in it if I have CS3? But maybe not. Who knows...

I haven't looked at the torrent version for this, but normally you edit things or run the cracks so they don't connect to the adobe servers so they can't tell you are using illegal serials when it activates

Using the hosts file you point all activation server address to the loopback address

Awesome

I'm guessing it would usually do it itself if you had a proper CD

What your doing is diverting the software away from the adobe servers. If you had a legit CD, there would be no need as it would verify at their end.

Go to the Adobe website, download the Full package trial that you want i.e. Master Collection, go see some "pirate" and get a crack in your "bay" window
