The rx7 is about 450 bhp but can only rev to 6k at the moment, probably why you went past him so fast.

lol rich i went to the first one of the year in march but not been since. it is quite smooth tbh it doesnt light the wheels up as easy as the standard turbo did but this1 doesnt come in as fast/hard so it ends up being smoother and faster

The RX is my mates, He's not had much track experience so he was taking it easy and just getting used to it. Its a bit of a handful!!! lol Engine should produce well over 500bhp but as mentioned he was limited to 6k due to fuel system currently not good enough to sustain the 9000rpm the engine will rev to.

maybe they were novices?
i agree though, too much poncing about, is it just an arrive and drive kind of thing or were there actual classes depending on whether you'd done a track day before or not?

oh and due to being so impressed with the puma's handling and fun-ness (weird made up word) in the dry, i've been thinking about buying a cheap puma, stripping it all out, ading a couple of bucket seats and doing one of these days in the future.
the garage comes in handy for things like this.

To be honest, Butler just pointed out to me how fast SportyBoy's car is.
It could just be the fact SportyBoy is sooo fast, it makes everyone else look slow? or the camera isn't capturing the speed.
Plus it doesn't seem a 'fast' track like combe, so that doesn't help... but it did look like people were doing about 30 mph through some of the bends infront of sportyboy. Which always puzzles me on track, as I think 'You'd probably do 70 mph through the same corner if it was on the road, but now its on a track, you're doing 30?'.
