this isnt entirely true.

there is a way you can bridge connectors from transponder and can start car. however, there is no way im goin to say how to do it correctly as some chav scum may use it for naughtyness

just bypass it with a few wires had to do it on my dads cavalier as it had a really dodgy immobiliser that you had to deactivate with aketfob and the keyfob stopped working think we ran a wire from the fuel pump to the ignition or something like that

yer did the paper clip test and its says the crank senser has no signal brout a new one but it sill saz the same its not sparkin or geting fule but if i put a wire form the relay to the battery i can get fule

Disconnect the battery to reset the ECU as its probably flashing up old codes (the crank sensor one) Then see what codes its brings up. Do you know if the ECU for the new engine is immobilised?

Very strange. Especially seeing as the ECU isn't immobilised. When my immobiliser was stuck on on mine after doing my conversion it would start but cut out after 2-3 secs.

when i bought my sri it had an aftermarket immob on it, all i did was trace the wires and cut it out, dont know how to do it with the factory one though
