Wahts with the box around the filter? Doesnt that restrict the air flow?

No - keeps the air cooler...there's an induction pipe running from my splitter which feeds into the box.

it stops hot air getting to the induction kit cos there supposed to run on cold air the colder the better. that way no hot air from the engine can get to the kit

Very clean. Like the colour coded head Think a job lot of samco hosing would finish it off a treat . Is that all you can really see of the Velos kit?

Overall though mate, your car looks a minter. Everything looks like it should have came from the factory with it, and nothing looks out of place. Nice one

I've been considering Samco's - but I'm not sure what colour to go for and if they are really worth the cash.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm that would look great in D4, all polished up nice and shiney!!

AS for braided hoses, dont bother, trust me, i've been there. Took me ages to do (cos of the S shape hoses) and looks terrible. Just buy silicone hoses.

Might not look to bad there, but they are terrible. Too many tight bends. DOnt bother.

Blue silicone hoses would contrast nicely. Dont forget that there not just for show silicone hoses withstand higher pressure than standard hoses.
