Yup, is much better, ABS plastic stuff rather than metal so looks a lot more OEM, not cheap though.

Finally got it down on all fours today after a little mishap, had the nuts for the top mounts on the wrong way, but 5 mins sorted that out.

Would like it a little lower at the front, but it might settle yet. Rear is spot on IMO.

Also fitted a new front plate, bets on how long before I get pulled?

Before:

After:

Excuse the filth, off to give it a quick wash now.

Looks alot better now that its lowered, probably will come down too once its settled.

As for the front plate, looks shite imo.Far to small for the reccess.Standard simple font plate trimmed down would have looked much better.

Where you get the plate done lad?

Place it lower in the recess and it'll look better.

Front does look tad high, but as you said it'll settle a bit lower.

Plate is too wee for my liking, looks lost in the recess. Atleast its lowered though, was it the 50/30 kit or 30 all round?

30mm all around according to the LMF website, but says up to 40mm on the spring box.

Aye, front springs have only been on since yesterday, the rears have been on for nearly two weeks, albeit the front of the car was jacked up for that two weeks

Insurance is, don't think the tax is though, as it's the same engine.

Insurance was about £400 less than a GSI for me anyway. Just taxed it last month, £220odd for the year

Well its still settling, front has gone down a bit more:

Also got a pic of my HID's at night, still need the headlight alignment done, they are all over the place atm

Bought two new rainsport 2's for the front, once I track down a set of 16" 5 stud wheels I can get the wheels refurbished, going for ford graphite grey, same as the rocker cover.

Also just bought a cobra sport precat decat, had some monies I didnt know I had in my paypal account, so it would be rude not to spend it

Tyres arrived today, alloys are off the car and the old tyres are off. Car looks so shit with 16"s on the front and 15"s on the back

Dropping off the wheels to get refurbed tomorrow, should have them back next thursday.

Pre-cat arrived today too, shiny
