So you've bought a dodgy car off ebay without looking at and now you're trying to con somebody else.

Great way to spend Ste's tax money.

tbh piston rings are not going to be a quick and easy fix, are you sure its the rings and not just te turbo? as you can get a set of turbo seals for £50

The tow is only the pathway to my future brera tbh... I love them. Alfa Red with a black roof

On the subject of your piston rings, the piston rings are on the pistons which are possibily the most difficult part to get to on an engine. Will be an hours job that. Why did you buy it smoking like a bitch?

i take it it had been diagnosed properly? Leak down test, rather than just a compression test?!

had my mechanic look over it, checked for oil in the turbo, wasnt any so ruled that out, the car has used half a sump of oil in 50 miles, smoking like a bitch, took oil filler cap off with engine running and the engine is "breathing" alot so without stripping the engine he came up with the piston rings being shot

tried every possible way to get him to repair the car or give a refund be he wont do any, wont even answer his phone any more an when phoning the garage he gets his boys to answer an say he isnt in, only way left is to take it through the small claims court, but in the mean time we have a car parked outside thatcant be moved
