Well today I've joined a few people off here and a few more off weekend racer at the PPC show at Mallory Park.

Cracking day as usual! Big thanks to Ian, Willay, Mike and the team that organised and ran it.

Picked this up last night.


Got it back and placed it up to the car to see what it looks like.
Before cleaning it


Then gave it a polish and wash and placed it up to the car




I quite like it

I believe it's a Chris Ashley system not sure how you tell but it's only a month or two old and is still in pretty good condition, just needed a good clean!

Got it purely because the MOT is the week after PVS and the silencer is now blowing like a boss. Was originally planning to get a full stainless system made but lack of funds at the moment so this will suffice until I get another job/money

it is a bit big but it's mainly to pass the mot

Can get another tip easy enough

But one side of me does love the fact I can fist it

*****UPDATE*****

Well today I decided to get up early and get the car apart ready to fit the exhaust.

First off I removed everything that gets in the way.




Then placed in the backbox to have a peak at it.



Then Set about welding the manifold as it was blowing slightly by the thermostat (apparently it's a common place to blow) So sorted that and cleaned faces.

Then we (me and my stepdad) welded a new pipe to mate with the new center section as the old one was welded to the center section last time.

Sadly didn't get any photos of it but it's nice and neat

That took most of the day cutting bits and welding and getting it sealed.

Then I got it all fitted back up





Unfortunately the tip comes out on the wonk and there's no way of changing the angle as the centre section wouldn't sit right otherwise so will get it rewelded when I get the chance. Will probably when I exchange it for a smaller one.

Then I started it up and it started blowing at the centre section because I forgot to do the clamp up

So left it there as it was getting dark.

Other than that blow the exhaust sounded much deeper and let off a nice pop, so can only imagine it to bang when it actually get hot

So once the blow is sorted it should be almost ready for the MOT.

Got to fit my new sump baffle plate and get the shortened bolts then it hopefully will be ok
