Sung to the tune of fresh prince

Now this is the story all about how
My sled got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I took a bad turn and caught mad air

In Soviet Georgia born and raised
On the ice luge where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, luging, relaxing all cool
Taking Russian hostages i...nside a school
When a couple of Reds, they were up to no good
Drove Russian tanks into my neighborhood
One separatist movement and my mom got scared
And said "You're going to Vancouver to catch mad air"

I waited for my start and when it came near
the course said "fast" and had a concrete barrier
If anything I could say that this track was rare
But I though nah, forget it, Nodar, catch air!

I slid up to turn number seven or eight
And I yelled to my trainer "Comrade, it's hard to steer"
Flew into a wall and I was finally there
Killed my self while trying to catch mad air

Well, it wasn't the most dangerous corner so it doesn't matter that he's died really.

I expect the text messages through soon enough.

i thought it was good tbh.

everyone always makes jokes about everyones death. it's a good way of dealing with things.

michael jackson, jade goody, that blonde guy who hung himself in a train station...

it's just another day at the office really.

TBF Paul, although it is in bad taste and doesn't even really work to the Bel Air theme, i think you will have probably laughed at jokes about worse tragedies than this.

If anything it was just too soon.

I made a saracastic slur with what I said, but you would have had to read the sports day thread to get it. I laugh at harsh jokes, I find it hard not to, personally I thought this particular one was awful and it's that bad it should be trashed.

Its not a case of millions of people dying everyday. Songs like that don't get made up about the other millions that die.

I think its a little too soon for the jokes if i'm honest.

I don't know why, but I don't mind the one's at the 'celebrities'...

e.g. Jade Goody was annoying as fuck.

Micheal Jackson fiddled with kids.

... Therefore jokes about their deaths are kinda funny.

- but when it's just 'average joe' ... you can't help feel that's just someone's son / brother / friend, that your mocking. - Like a normal person... it could be 'your brother' ...

I guess thats why I never laughed at the beheading vids etc. When I watched that beheading vid, I couldn't help picture it being my dad in that helpless position

Celebrities have had their fame, made their money, lived a good life... done annoying shit. They deserve to get jokes.

This chap is just a 21 year old nobody, who got unlucky in a sport and died.

Ok but i'm not saying that they weren't too soon.

I see Paul's logic behind his post

the course said "fast" and had a concrete barrier'
