hi people, got myself another polo, went and picked it up from birmingham on sunday,
some of you may recognise it,some of you may not......
i absolutly love it and its a real credit to previous owners who have seriously looked after it, the shell is pretty much spotless! (minus the camo paint which i think is pretty cool in its own way but may be getting changed soon.....)
anyways, heres some pics (stolen from previous owner, not got chance to take my own)
let me know what you all think, good bad or ugly.... its nice to be rolling in a low dished car again,
plans are to get it repainted, takes stickers off and freshen her up, like i say, the shell is unbeliveable spotless and the engine bay is mint,
brad

It just looks like an old fucked polo ready for scrap, each to their own though. Aslong as you like it, that's all that matters

If it had a good paint it would look good though, its that crappy matt camo thats letting it down. IMO of course.

cheers for the comment mate, much appreciated,
certainly aint fucked and scrapworthy tho, would certainly put to shame most m reg cars out there for how tidy it is!
its only the paint thats letting it down, guaranteed if i put that pic up and it had perfect paint with pure gloss shine then you wouldnt be saying it looked fucked! cheers for your opinion tho, definately not expecting everyone to like it!

TBH yes the outside appearance is what strikes you at first. But then you see silly ride height that will do nothing for the performance/handling and will only cause problems (speed humps etc) and don't get me started on 'dished' wheels. They are tiny and imo look shit and more suited to a Volvo 340.

I really don't see the point in these 'scene' cars.

thats fair enough mate, the ride isnt too bad tbh but it certainly could be better, the wheels i love...but thats me and the paint is hopefully getting changed, i do know what you mean about the 'scene' look which is why im hoping to change a few things, hopefully changing a few peoples mind in the process, but you never know,
cheers for your reply, brad
