Ok, after the success of the RR day I'm thinking of organising something a little more fun, and warmer an idea in my head at the minute is Go Karting. I've been looking around and found a few possible venues, if anyone wants to add input then please feel free. I'll sort everything out, all I would need from you I imagine is a deposit and for you to turn up on the day. I was thinking about sorting one out for a for a few months time.

Please add your name if you are interested so I can get a rough idea of who will be going and if it is worth me organising, what I don't want is 30 people saying yes then 10 people deciding to go

We will use this thread to finalise all the details then I will make a new one with details on paying/venue/dates and sticky it, like I did with the RR day one.

At the minute I'm swaying towards xtremekarting and their grand prix event, although we would need 25 people for that.

Full safety briefing / practice session
5 Adrenalin packed heats of 6 laps
Top drivers race in an exciting 10 lap final
Presentation / Trophies to top 3 drivers!


Although this looks fucking epic, 300 metre indoor tarmac facility.

They have an outdoor facility with 70mph karts but there's no pint organising that as guarenteed the weather will be pish.

Thing about go-karting is, im 6ft 4" and weight 15 stone little buggers just fly off at go-karting!

Good start anyway, can everyone interested visit the links in the first post and tell me what they think, I think the 'Raceland' venue looks the best, and has the best value for money.

I'm about the same height and a stone and a half lighter but still trounce folk who are half my size I'd be all over this. Any form of competition and I'm there!

Too right, if we can get enough people paying deposits it will be sound, see what heppens this year but I plan to organise atleast 3 events of some sort, if they all go to plan we could do more next year.

You've never seen Shell drive If someone goes past her too quickly she'll jam on the brakes and cause a pile up.
