on left hand side of inlet manfold isnt it ?

at a guess something like 036906051p ?

Well others have said so but after searching it isnt on the inlet tube from the intercooler or on the intercooler lol

phone up vw tommrow and ask for its location, will be shown on the etka slide 1-33 or 9-06 if you get a stupid partsman

usally called a thrust sensor on etka too

Its a 2000. Cant get to the car now as my mate has taken it to a garage for some bits that need doing.
