AK, is there much of an advantage of this one over the standard? If not would you be interested in selling me your old one that I'm guessing your replacing with one of these?

If not I'll check funds and will probably take one of the new ones.

Edit: is £150 the best price they offered you. They sell them direct on ebay for £150 delivered, unless I'm missing something.

I have a chap in the USA that'll send me the normal one for £84 (plus delivery).

Arn't the HD ones only £200 now as im sure I was looking at them a lot recently? Not saying it to put the post down, saying it as im sure they should be offering you a better discount now the HD version with noise supression is out.

way to go daimo

Go buy one (old non wide lens one) for £84.... IMPORT it, then.... pay the TAX and handling.

I have stated the price... I'm not really interested in what they or I 'should' have done.

I have done this... this is what has been done.

so why are you getting wide for $134 and a wide for $84...

I have already said what the deal is... there is no need to just trash the thread saying you should have done this.

I AM NOT willing to take the risk with buying 6 cameras and HOPING that they sail through customs.... I have been stung so many times with customs ow that I rarely import shit now. Even 'gifts' and '2nd hand spares'. The charges you get stung for are crazy!

Im not trashing, im saying you might be able to get a better deal if you fight more, thats it....
