alu twin core intercooler... copper radiator.. low temp fan swich... rejetted carb...in carboost via bleed valve at 14 psi pushes around 160 bhp with no coolin probs... cost about 500-600 quid


bb tuning rebuild for 1700 quid with this added
slightly reduced compression ratio, uprated head gasket, bolts and lightened flywheel. Built to withstand higher boost pressures.
Mild head porting is also carried out.
low compression pistons, Improved Fast road spec cylinder head, Optimised cam timing and a full-assembled balance of the engine

with t2/25 hybrid over 220bhp or t3 rollerbearing 250-350bhp with a few extras here and there

This R5 is a minter as well, just had a full respray, smooth boot, full leather interior from a Renualt 19 16v.

I would'nt sell the GT to buy the R5, I would get a couple of my mates to chip and and buy it together.

Then we have a little pocket rocket to do up.

I've just got hold of a 2nd hand CAT for £50, thats only done 30,000 miles so I can afford to get the engine mount done as well

No, I like my Punto and its a lot newer.

We would'nt fight as Richmond has got his Saxo (FastCar coming to feature it on Sunday) and my other mate has got his brand new Astra SXi.

mike poole aka joints is selin his r5 300 horse power looks the utter nuts... best r5 ive seen chromed engine/rage respray 25 grand spent last year sellin for £9500

written off his birds 206 cc needs the cash what a beast

its in this months max power (has been in revs/maxpower/fast car/and performance gti)

Becasue i prefer the shape of the R5GTT to the punto. The engines are more tunable, theres lots of kits etc out there, engine can be made more pretty.

OK, they are older, but then, i'd rather have a few old american cars, but there much older.
