i want to warn you all about what might happen if the joint between front and rear exhaust parts will rust and come off.

your rear exhaust is only fastened at the far rear with two rubber things, and when it falls of, will make your car do a pole vault. it will actually lift the rear wheels of your car..

it happened to me once, but luckily i was in a car jam, so it only lifted the car gently. managed to reverse into a side street, so i was dragging the pipe instead.

after this happened, i always check this before every summer season. if this happens at high speed, the car might roll over. i have seen this happen in denmark.

beware and check under at your exhaust before going on longer trips...

this is Corsa B exhaust

I can see if spinning round on the rubbers and sticking out the back of the bumper before it vaults the back of the car 2 feet in the air.

the joint is behind the rear suspension beam. then when it falls down, it barely miss that beam. and yes the back box stays on and the pipe lifts the car..

i will look for the pic of the rolled over corsa. i took a pic in denmark...

nope. perhaps the mounts will fall off, but i wouldnt bet entirely on that. as this has happened to me, i just wanted to warn you. next time you lift the car up for an oil change or something, just check for rust on that place.
