After spending nearly 3 years and a rediculous amount of money on my current corsa i thought it was time for a change. My current one is on 102,000 and the clutch is on its way out so i thought its best to cut my losses and move on. So after a long while searching i found another good, low mileage, mainly rust free, dent free corsa. It came with post 97 colour coded bumpers, white Speedline Allesio 2's, 2.5 v6 brakes, goodridge brake lines, full stainless exhaust system including de-cat, bilstein shocks and springs, semi smooth boot, corbeau reclining buckets with re-trimmed rear to match, Whiteline rear ARB with Whiteline brackets and polybushes, Front lower alloy ARB, X16xe convertion, blue LED's for all dash bulbs inc lights and heaters, plus a lot of other bits and bobs with a lot of service history and reciepts. So i'll let the pics do the talking from now on.

My old car:

The new one:

I bought it for a nice price last week and my updates are so far:

I started by stripping the lights, arches, bumpers and mounts off.

As you can see there is a patch of rust behind the bumper but that was soon cut out and treated.

After removing the front crash bar the paint behind was a bit flakey and there was a bit of surface rust so i wire brushed it off and gave it a lick of paint.

And then rain stopped play for tonight

Future plans are to underseal it, fully spray the rear bumper white, colour code the arches, i have a new front bumper on order, colour coded steinmetz skirts, spray the silver bonnet to white, new front and rear lights and then just a general tidy up.

Nah its on 102k clutch is going, head gasket will need doing soon and its going to be better just doing a full rebuild. The bodywork is getting rough and the fibreglass is cracking so really its not worth spending so much on a 1.2.
