Right so my second year is nearly up, i dont know if i fancy another year in the corsa but i cant come close to selling it.

What i want to know is at the mighty age oif 19 is there anywhere that will insure me to drive other cars tpft?

Really thinking about a golf and fitting anni bits but im unsure if i will get a decent one for around 2k

Any help appreciated.

Seeing as its a boring thread, here is some eye candy

Most places are over 25 to drive any car, maybe with the exception of one or 2 companies that apparently allow anyone to do so, which im a bit dubious of.

Anni parts are no cheap, think Im paid almost £400 for just the front spoiler!!

Only if your policy says so as per their terms & conditions.

I think quinn give you it as standard, that's about the only place you get it under 25 now though and it has far too dodgy a reputation for me to trust them.

Well I looked on their site under terms & conditions & it says :

Am I covered to drive other cars?
If your certificate of insurance says so, we will also cover the policyholder for your liability to other people while you are driving any other private motor car which you do not own or have not hired or leased.

So the same as most places.

Surely if everyone got it, it would just say.

Am I covered to drive other cars?
Yes.

When i got stopped driving my sisters car on Quinn insurance when the police called up and asked they just said i could drive any vehicle. Thats it. I agree with colin though it depends on the other insurers terms.

fella i know has used quinn for all his cars as he insures some other car, puts all his cars in his mums name and away he goes. has had allsorts of stuff from 17-18 years old.

as dodgy as it might be if you need to claim, on paper quinn technically would cover you to drive any vehicle that isnt in your own name. it doesnt, or didnt even state that the car needed to be insured by anyone else, just that it wasnt in you name. crazy. but on paper its legal.

Exactly, they don't even question if the car is insured. All they told the police was i could drive any vehicle. They didn't even dig any deeper. I had a 1l corsa insured and drove anything else. Alot of friends insure mgs saxos and drive civics cupra rs etc.
