Specifically the Corsa?
Was a lot of hype about it last time I left the site, just wondered how many people took the plunge and went out and bought one?

Service it yourself tbh
As for tyres, make friends with somebody at BMW who can get some decent discount.
Sorted.

i just pay for parts at trade price, all the labour is free as my mrs dad owns an independant bmw garage(where jambo goes)
two coils went last wednesday night and by 9.00 am i had six new ones fitted
my tyres were £440 though
my coil spring cost me about £40 fitted
if i didnt get it all done cheap then would be quite a large sum though

I paid for the paint, tyres & small service, other 3 (more expensive bills) were covered by the warranty or the dealers.
I wouldnt be best pleased paying for that lot out my own pocket though after just 6 months....cars not even that old!!

Yeah, traded original Astra in for it.
Good cars, very chuckable but don't feel as solid or as grownup as the Astra.

Its a fair one, the VXR still costs £10k+ to buy then insurance on top
Compare that to a 1.6 sport or gsi and you can see a massive difference

I drive a 1.6 sport through choice so it isnt too expensive for this 'average' corsa driver

Well good for you but most of the lads on here want a nice cheap car for there first motor and the corsa B/C fits the bill nicely. The corsa VXR doesnt.
