Recently bought an Opel Badge to put on the back of my car to replace the griffin logo, now when i went to put it on realised i had got the wrong pin fitting at the back, so i then took the pins off a went to simply stick it in place on the back...

problem is i have tried silicon and strong double sided tape, but none of it seems to work

so can anyone help me in terms of suggesting what may be the best thing to use to stick it in place?

would even superglue do it?

Thanks in advance, Callum.

I've never used Tigerseal but people use it for bonding arches on and the likes so it must be good. araldite can be bought from BnQ or any shop similar, it comes in two tubes which you mix together. Providing both surfaces are flat and clean it will set like concrete. I used araldite to bond my gearknob with the gear stick (metal on plastic) and it hasnt budged since, rock hard it is.

Should be fine pal, it carries no weight so wouldn't take much.

just use a small bit and use some masking tape to stick it in place while it dries, takes about 12 hours to dry.
also, you can get some glue for badges in halfords, not sure how much it is but my mate stuck his badge on in the carpark and its still on now.

Tigerseal or Tec7 I used on my boot badge.. Good because it takes awhile to set so you can play around with alignment before it sets..

cheers fella!

he just told me he had some glue he got from halfords for glueing badges on,
he drove to halfords, stuck it on there and then and drove home, its still on now. it was a golf badge though, i dont know if it has a recess to sit in slightly,
i would still tape it on for a few hours,
ill try find out what glue it is if you cant find it
