Brilliant...

Strip opened at 10.30 on the dot, was warm, sunny and DRY all day, I managed to get 7 runs BEFORE Lunch and left Santa Pod at 1pm, could of got even more runs in. Well good day.

My worse time down the strip was 1min and 22secs. That was cos my throttle cable came off again just as the lights went green, rather embarrasing!

My best time of the day was 15.249secs @ 92mph so was happy with that. Apart from my fluff up my worse was 16.429 @ 86mph cos I missed 3rd gear.

Around 170bhp and 124ib/ft. Took the rear seats, spare wheel etc.. out and added a bottle of NOS octane booster.

I had 7 runs and quite a few of them were different more than .249secs. It's all about getting the start right and changing gear at the exact right time. If i did it enough, I reckon I could get a 15.0 quarter!

It was a very nice day. Sorry not rubbing it in, also not many people there so there was the chance to get over 10 runs if you wanted, I was walking around in a short sleeve shirt as it was quite warm all day! Best time I've ever been there!
